4. L’évolution des droits sociaux au Royaume-Uni, sous l’influence de la CEDH The influence of the European Convention on Human Rights on employment law in the United Kingdom
L’année 2025 marque le 75e anniversaire de l’adoption de la Convention européenne des droits de l’homme et des libertés fondamentales et de la signature de ce texte par le Royaume-Uni. Elle marque également le 25e anniversaire de la mise en application de la loi britannique sur les droits fondamentaux (Human Rights Act).
À l’occasion de ce double anniversaire, l’objectif de ce cycle de rencontres interdisciplinaires est d’analyser les conséquences, à la fois juridiques et politiques, de la Convention et de la loi de 1998 au Royaume-Uni.
The year 2025 represents the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the European Convention on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms and the signature of the Convention by the United Kingdom. It also represents the 25th anniversary of the coming into force of the Human Rights Act 1998.
To mark this dual anniversary, the aim of this interdisciplinary series of conferences is to assess both the legal and political impact of the Convention and the Human Rights Act in the UK.
